Looking for a sweet way to invite the most important ladies in your life to be a part of your bridal party? How about a tea party in their honour? Asking them to be your Bridesmaids! A special afternoon reminding them just how much their love and support means to you, while asking them to stand up for you on the biggest day of your life!
Here is a lovely example from a dear friend, Lauren Rounds, who threw her best friends a surprise, vintage tea party, asking them to be her bridesmaids for her 2014 wedding.
Lauren, a fabulous graphic designer, did a wonderful job with the decor for the event. She mix-matched vintage and antique plates, tea cups and pots on a lovely lace tablecloth and then filled an assortment of tiny vases with pink and white roses, baby’s breath sprayed gold and assorted filler flowers. Living Fresh supplied her with the flowers and made the table centrepiece and a floral crown just for the bride to be.
Lauren created the stationary for the tea party and had Honey Bake Shop in Waterloo make the tasty desserts. Lauren’s very talented, soon to be sister-in-law, Neen Bean, photographed the afternoon.
Here is a peek into her special tea party…
