We are noticing a few new wedding trends over here at the Living Fresh studio so we wanted to share our findings with you as you plan for the upcoming 2012 wedding season. Wedding flowers this year seem to have a soft, feminine, romantic feel to them, airing on the side of vintage but with classic elements and lots of texture. Have a look at a few themes we have gathered together:
Pale Shades with lots of Texture
Soft pale pastel coloured flowers, textural blooms mixed with branches and foliage are a perfect combination for a rustic and natural wedding theme. Think nature in its wildly romantic state.

The Colour Purple
Purple is a very versatile colour and has so much to offer when used in wedding flowers. It can be bold and be dramatic when combining deep dark shades together or soft, light and feminine when playing with light shades of lavender, mauve and lilac. Regardless of the shade it looks stunning against white!

Soft and Creamy
Creamy white flowers are classic and back in style for 2012 thanks to some high profile weddings in 2011, kudos to Kate Middleton and Kate Moss. They offer the simplest monochromatic colour palette going creating a sophisticated, romantic feel for a wedding at any time of the year. Cream mixed with soft pastel flowers is also stunning combination for 2012.
