Sunday, April 15th was the Living Fresh Flower School’s Right of Spring flower class. Although it was a small class, it was my favourite by far. The flowers were bright and colourful and all the students created beautiful floral pieces.
The focus of this class was to use spring flowers to create a free flowing, natural arrangement in a cube vase. The students were all taught how to create a grid out of clear waterproof florist tape on their vases, then they were shown how to use the grid as structure to arrange the flowers in the vase. We also had a craft planned for them and they all created the sweetest birds’ nests out of moss.
