We attended Professional Trade Day at the Interior Design Show on Friday and had a great time getting inspired by all the great displays and booths! We started our tour of the show at the Sibling Revelry exhibit. The exhibit showcased 4 rooms designed by 4 pairs of talented Canadian siblings. The featured duos were: Glenn and David Dixon, Jason and Lars Dressler, Sarah and Theo Richardson and My and Thien Ta Trung.
My and Thien are the talented siblings behind the Montreal based design studio Periphere. In their studio they design hand-crafted furniture that screams individuality and is extracts of who they are. They define the furniture and the furniture defines them.
Here is their installation for Sibling Revelry at the IDS11:
So lush and green; right up my alley!
From here we moved into the mood altering room created by Glenn and David Dixon. See their installation in part 2 of the series on Sibling Revelry.
