This was Living Fresh’s first time working our floral magic in the Hacienda Sarria and we were thrilled at the opportunity to unleash our creative juices in such a remarkable venue. It was also a treat to work with the volunteer committee at HopeSpringsas well as Lynn and her team from Special Events and Flowers who provided the decor elements for the event.
Our goal with the flowers was to emphasize the fine Italian food theme with a bit of the rustic, old world charm Italy is famous for. We did so by creating highly textured floral arrangements in shade of white and cream with a touch of fresh green grapes. For the table centrepieces we used mocha coloured painted terracotta pots, created a very large pedestal urn arrangement that became the focal point in the courtyard and hung two swags to on balconies over looking the courtyard.
The following flowers were used to create the florals for the event:
- vandella roses
- polar star roses
- white hydrangea
- green grapes
- white waxflower
- white limonium
- white carnations
- birch branches
- israeli ruscus
- white hypericum berries
- white alstromeria
We are looking forward to working with HopeSpring and the Hacienda Sarria again!
