Happy Friday friends. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend planned, what is on your agenda?? Besides working, it is all I seem to do lately but I love it, I think we will be shopping for a fridge and stove for our new house, we move in July so we need to get them ordered and we still do not know what we want. As well, I’m hoping to squeeze in some planning for our August trip to Europe, we are flying into Amsterdam, visiting relatives in Northern Germany and attending a friend’s wedding in Cologne but I would also like to make it to Copenhagen and Brussels and meet up with some dear friends, so some planning is in order.
This week has been extremely busy for Living Fresh but very rewarding. I wanted to share a bit of my commercial work with you for a little Weekend Eye Candy. This week I had the pleasure of installing an everlasting botanical arrangement at Voila Salon and Spa in Uptown Waterloo and wanted to share it with you.
I was thrilled when they asked me to create a floral arrangement for their Uptown location, as Voila has been a part of my life since 1996 or 1997, when I started seeing their amazing hair stylist Tara for regular haircuts, the odd perm and hi-lites.
If you live in Kitchener-Waterloo, you need book one of their spa pedicures, they are amazing! But I can guarantee you will love all their services. They strive to offer their clients excellence and they do; they are leaders in educating their amazing team of employees and encouraging them to succeed, they are on top of the current fashion trends, styles and techniques. Plus they really know how to make all their clients feel right at home.
My goal was to create a piece that reflects Voila’s aesthetic, something that would create excitement for clients and staff by adding fun eye candy to the already contemporary interior. I wanted the design to have an organic feel with lots of texture and a splash of colour.
I’m really pleased with this project and glad I could share it with you here. Do check out Voila Salon and Spa you will be pleased. Happy Weekend!
