Wednesday’s Flowers – Teatime and Flowers

July 14, 2010

Where did last week go?  My life seems to be a whirl-wind lately and we just got back from a little vacation, crazy.  Today was a lot busier than I expected and I almost did not create flowers for this week’s enjoyment.  I have a lot of weaving to do and very little time to do it, so an unexpected twist to my day dragged the creativity out of me.   I shoved those negative thoughts aside and went for it.  I feel like I persevered despite all that is going on.

So here I present to you a little flower arrangement from my garden.  The arrangement is made up of the following:

Echinacea purpurea

Astilbe chinensis

Sedum ‘Purple Emperor”

Japanese Painted Fern

Hosta flowers

Talinum paniculata ‘Limon’

Dictamnus albus plant

I wish I could sit beside it all day with a continuous of tea and a pile of great magazines to enjoy.  Perhaps later once I have finished all the things on my to-do-list for today.

Enjoy!
