Wednesday’s Flowers – Blooming and Growing

June 29, 2011

I love to watch a garden evolve and change throughout the growing season.  Everyday there is something new blooming and growing, while I watch our current garden, I’m still snipping away different elements for arrangements.

Here are a few things blooming and growing in the garden:

  • Hosta sp.
  • Tickseed – Coreopsis grandiflora ‘Early Sunrise’
  • Oregano – Origanum vulgare
  • Pink Thrift – Armeria maritima “Splendens”
  • Heuchera micrantha ‘Palace Purple‘ (Coral Bell) Foliage

Here are those 5 items arranged in a clear, Quill bud vase from Crate & Barrel.

Tell me, what is blooming in your garden?  I’m currently thinking what to plant in our new gardens once we move and I would love to hear about the flowers catching your attention right now.

On a side note, this is a very busy this week for me – we have visitors from Germany, a big family wedding on the weekend, plus we are preparing for next week when we get our new house!

Also, I’m finally done work and now officially self employed, so also busy working and planning for Living Fresh.

Happy Wednesday friends!
