wedding flower wednesday – a bouquet, bridal gowns and photography

May 15, 2013

Working with other local wedding vendors is always a pleasure, especially since Kitchener-Waterloo has a collective of very talented wedding professionals. So when Alex Budinski of Spirits Intrigued Photography approached me to participate in a photo shoot showcasing bridal fashions by Jennie Ross Bridal I happily obliged, and made them a pretty wedding bouquet to use for the shoot!

Seeing our work photographed by a pro is such a delight! Here is what Alex captured with his camera:

I used the following flowers to create the bridal bouquet:

  • White Cymbidium Orchids
  • Lime Green Cymbidium Orchids
  • Pink with White Tipped Tulips
  • White Ranunculus
  • White Roses ‘Mondial’
  • Green Mini Hydrangeas
  • Green Viburnum
  • Thlaspi ‘Green Belt’
  • Honey Bracelet foliage
  • Salal foliage

Alex is a wonderful wedding photographer, who really takes time in getting to know the couples he works with. So many of his brides and grooms become his personal friends. The beautiful model is a perfect example; she is one of his past brides.

And Jennie, oh that Jennie Ross, she makes the most amazing custom bridal dresses, ever! You want it she can make it! Jennie made a beautiful dress for one of Living Fresh’s past brides you can see it here. I so adore the peach dress shown above; the lace overlay is stunning. I hope one day to have her make me a dress!

Getting married? I suggest you check out these two amazing wedding professionals you will not be disappointed.
