Fresh and Renewed – Betty Anne Peanut Crunch Tin

June 25, 2013

I have recently started collecting tin containers for arranging flowers in. While out thrifting I was pleasantly surprised to happen upon a Vintage turquoise Betty Anne Peanut Crunch Tin; pleasantly surprised by the fact that the tin had the name Betty Anne on it and spelt the exact way my Mom spells her name. I also loved the fun turquoise blue colour.

I did some reach search on the tin, but it fell short, as I was unable to found out any information on the company who made the peanut crunch or who Betty Anne is. All I know is the manufacture is Beddall Candy Co. from Collingswood, New Jersey.

Despite the lack of knowledge on this tin, it is a keeper.

So this week’s Fresh and Renewed post is for my Mom. Thanks for giving me your love for flowers! xo.

Did you remove the tape edges on the final product? I know that the grid usually gives away when the arrangement gets full, but I can see the tape on the “making of” pictures but not the one before or after “The Finished Floral Design…”

Just curious, since there aren’t alot of leaves going down or anything covering the edge of the tin.

  • @Brenda, Yes I removed the tape as is was still showing once the design was completed.
